@dylanlindgren @OpenWebAdvocacy @ozguruksal The DMA requires Apple to open up iOS to 3P browser engines, and that Safari can't self-pref (e.g., restrict a feature like install and run PWAs to WebKit). Oh and they can't degrade functionality to circumvent anything.

@dylanlindgren @OpenWebAdvocacy @ozguruksal In my view, that's more than enough to require Apple give all browsers the APIs required for installed PWAs. This will allow browser engines to offer whatever PWA features they want to implement, and competition will hopefully do the rest.
