    @ayoBDB Well any native app can be a privacy disaster as they get access to powerful APIs, can run in the background, etc. Social apps tend to have genuine use for access to media, location, camera, etc. Once you grant access, you have to trust the app uses it for the intended purpose.

      @ayoBDB Browsers tend to be paranoid about access to apis. Even if you grant access, it will almost always only work when the site is een open.

        @ayoBDB Anyway, all that said, not sure which alternative clients are available these days. Twitter used to be very open but that changed. I've used Falcon, Flamingo and some others. They all had to shut down at some point because Tw only allowed a max nr of users per app
