@stuartd @gte @benthompson @gruber @mtomweb @chrismlacy It's (arguably) not. If browser A has a vuln, it helps if not everyone is on that browser and/or can (temp) switch to another one. On iOS you can't. Then there's how long patches take to reach users (who then postpone the required OS update because it's a hassle).

@stuartd @gte @benthompson @gruber @mtomweb @chrismlacy If everyone is vulnerable to the exact same exploit, bad actors can a) invest all their time in finding such exploits (instead of spreading) and b) gain 100% success on the entire platform if they find one.
