My guess why they removed the feature? The Demise Of Hangouts is pretty weird. It still has a huge user base (grown over 15 yrs of Google Talk and Hangouts) but Google kept piling on bloat and then, instead of fixing it, abandoned it. ..well, except for that one intern they keep on "The Team".Permalink On twitter.com
