It's weird that some of Google's apps don't let you toggle Dark Mode in settings (but follow system dark mode only), others only have the setting in the app (and ignore the system setting) and some offer both options. androidpolice.com/2019/10/03/the-play-store-is-finally-getting-a-dark-theme/

    The Play Store is of the first category, so no option to toggle it in the app. It follows system dark mode. Which is the worst option imo..
